The principle of anti-air lift

The principle of anti-air lift:
The air is provided by the air pump. The air pump stone is placed at the bottom of the reverse air lift. The air flow is from bottom to top, and the water flow is from top to bottom. It is a reverse flow, so it is called anti-air lift. This is the difference between it and air lift. (Air lift is that the upper mouth is lower than the water surface, and does not receive the upper and lower water, but uses the natural rise of the gas to drive the water upward, and the bottom is the water inlet.)
Features of anti-air lift:
The bottom of the anti-air lift is the water outlet. The reverse air lift is generally placed under the water outlet of the upper filter to receive the falling water from the upper filter. And the anti-air lift is generally a larger opening, and its upper end is higher than the water surface. In this way, all the filtered water flows into the reverse air lift, and the water flow carries a certain pressure (because the opening is higher than the water surface) and flows out from the lower end of the reverse air lift. In this way, the glass ring can be simultaneously affected by the falling water flow and the rising air bubbles. Compared with ordinary gas lift, reverse gas lift not only has more convection, but also the internal water flow is much larger than ordinary gas lift. Therefore, for the cultivation of nitrifying bacteria, anti-air lift is undoubtedly stronger than ordinary air lift, and even aquarists reacted. The effect of using anti-air lift is better than that of filter buckets.
